Hood Canal Pontoon Replacement
CTL providided concrete laboratory testing on the Hood Canal Pontoon Replacement project located at the Concrete Technology yard in Tacoma Washington.
I-5 to 48th Street project
CTL has recently provided reinforced concrete and soils density testing on the I-5 to 48th Street project located in Tacoma Washington. CTL has provided hydraulic proof loading testing on mock up sample sound walls as well as concrete paving on roadways.
Port of Tacoma
CTL providided on-call inspection/testing services for the Port of Tacoma, Tacoma Washington. Scope of services includes concrete, masonry soils/asphalt testing and inspection.
Villagio Condominiums
CTL providided inspection/testing services on the 245 Metro Tower Building project in Tacoma, Washington. Our scope include soils density testing, post tensioned concrete testing and inspection, shotcrete testing and inspection, structural steel visual welding/bolting and lateral framing inspections.
Tacoma Narrows bridge
Construction of the new span, which runs parallel to the original bridge, began on October 4, 2002, and was completed in july, 2007. The state intends to recoup construction costs by adding a toll to the eastbound (new) span. The existing span, which was reconfigured for westbound traffic, has been toll-free since 1965, and will remain so. The new bridge also marks the first installation of the new Good To Go! electronic toll collection system. CTL was retained for quality assurance testing for the engineers on the new Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Services included on this project were reinforced concrete testing (caissons), soils testing, miscellaneous tensile testing and asphalt density testing. CTL successfully completed asphalt mixdesigns of TLA base lift as well as wear course, CTL also provided QC on the asphalt paving for this highprofile project. Image1, Image2
Maersk Pier Extension
The estimated cost for the pier extension work is estimated to be between $8 million and $9.5 million.
Hyundai Terminal Port of tacoma
The Port of Tacoma Commission approved a $65.1 million budget for the year 2001. The budget anticipated the highest revenues in port history, maintains the port's property tax levy rate at its year 2000 level, and projects record volumes for containerized cargo.
